There’s no greater feeling than getting to work at what you love. I’m lucky enough to have started writing some web copy for House of the Nobleman, an arts management and consulting company out of London. Their thing is curating exhibitions in gorgeous homes or historical landmarks and buildings so you can picture what the work would look like in your home.
I’m excited to be drawing on my six years working at an art institution tutoring artists’ written assignments–instead of having to perceive a student’s weaknesses, needs, learning style, and get them to open up their thinking, all in under an hour, I get to just take a thing and make it better.
During my initial research, I uncovered this video of one of HOTN’s exhibitions and it stuck with me. I especially like the American steer skull-and-spinal cord rising up from the floor in front of the toilet inside a blue glowing box. Also the music is cool.
